House History
Named for Boyne Platt. A civil engineering graduate of Iowa State, Platt returned to ISU in 1936 as superintendent of buildings and grounds. From 1945 to 1958 he was business manager and secretary of the college and from 1958 to 1966 he served as vice president of business and finance.
