More Details Harwood House has a den on each floor that has tables and chairs for studying, playing game or a quiet place to stretch out and relax. The bathroom has sinks in one area with fully-enclosed toilet rooms and fully-enclosed individual shower rooms that have a place for changing. A water bottle refill station promotes the Department of Residence’s green initiatives.

House History

Hazel Harwood served as the Dean of Women from until 1923. Her first important task at Iowa State was to find room for the increased enrollment of women students.
