House History

A graduate of Iowa State, Jay Merrill served as assistant in dairy industry, as county extension director and as district extension supervisor. He was president of the National County Agents Association in 1923 and of the Iowa County Agents Association in 1922. He received recognition for outstanding service to agriculture by the National County Agents Association in 1941.
