House History
Named for Arnold Livingston (1902-1955). Following a career in architectural engineering working for the Fort Pitt Bridge Works and the Iowa Highway Commission, Livingston joined the Iowa State staff in 1942. He was faculty adviser to the Ward system, the Independent Student Association and the National Independent Student Association.
