Named for Sylvia Anthony (1884-1964). A housemother at Iowa State from 1937 to 1952 Anthony served the following groups at Iowa State: Pi Kappa Alpha, women housed in the Acacia House and in the White House, Alpha Tau Omega and the Farm House.
