A/C = Air-Conditioning
Academic Year = Includes only the fall and spring semesters. For summer rates, please visit our Summer Housing web site.
PB = Plus Break = The building is open during Winter Break. All other buildings close.
Super Single = A double occupied by only one resident. Super singles are available only if space permits, except for Wallace Hall. In Martin Hall, super singles are not available in corner or lofted suites.

Residence Hall Rates

All Buchanan Hall, Richardson Court, Union Drive and Wallace Hall rates are per student, per academic year. One half of the academic year rate is billed at the start of each semester through the U-Bill. Residents are also assessed mandatory hall and IRHA dues which contribute to programming and upkeep of house-owned equipment. Please review the Terms and Conditions for specific dues information.

If a rate is not listed for a specific type of room, it is because that option does not exist in that building.

Schilletter (SV) and University (UV) Villages Apartment Rates

All SUV Apartments rates listed are per apartment and include all utilities except phone, gas and electricity. Billing is done on a monthly basis through the U-Bill. SEMESTER BILLING IS ALSO AVAILABLE BY WRITTEN REQUEST (if all roommates agree to be billed this way). Phone and electricity usage are billed by the University, monthly, through the Ubill. Gas is contracted for and billed monthly by Alliant Energy.

In UV one bedroom or two bedroom PRIVATE units, one occupant pays the entire rent. In UV two bedroom, SHARED units, two occupants each pay one half of the rent. Residents are also assessed mandatory dues which contribute to programming and upkeep of community-owned equipment. Please review the Terms and Conditions for specific dues information.
