CUNNINGHAM, J. C. (1878-1948) received a B.S. from Kansas State University in 1905. He served successively as an assistant professor, associate professor and professor of horticulture. He was extremely popular when head of the two-year horticulture and botany for many years. He was on the Iowa State staff from 1911 until his death in 1948. He was the author of books, pamphlets and articles on the history of corn and traveled extensively to get his material.
