Places to Live & Eligibility

On-campus housing is composed of residence halls, University-owned apartments, and University-leased apartments.

Residence Halls

The residence halls are divided into three distinct neighborhoods:

Following Recontracting, residence hall priority is given to any new admit aged 18 or younger and 19 year-old, newly admitted, freshmen. Priority is then given to 19 year-old, newly admitted, transfers. Age is determined as of September 1 for fall contracts and February 1 for spring contracts.

Other students are eligible for these locations provided space remains available after the above assignments have been made.

South Campus also includes the Memorial Union. Only students aged 19 or older are eligible for this location.

Apartments

On-campus apartments are divided into four neighborhood. These locations are available to all Returners and to any new admit aged 19 or older. Age is determined as of September 1 for fall contracts and February 1 for spring contracts.

  • Single = Housing for students who will not have family members live with them on-campus.
  • Family = Housing for students who will have a partner, spouse, children, or other family members live with them on-campus.
