We're here for you during University closure!
The University is closed and classes are cancelled until noon on Thursday but, our staff is here for you!
Mail rooms, desks and staff will operate on our normal schedule. If you have a facilities' emergency, please contact our Service Center at 515-294-3322. If it's a non emergency, please submit a work order.
Keep your heat on and windows closed to prevent frozen pipes (frozen pipes break, causing flooding). Staff will be checking to ensure windows stay closed. It's going to be extremely cold! Even a window that's slightly open could cause damage.
Though some members of our custodial team will be working, we likely will not be able to keep our regular cleaning schedules in some areas due to staffing shortages. Please be courteous and understanding, doing your best to keep common spaces and bathrooms clean for your neighbors.
Please stay safe during the extremely cold temperatures! If you have any questions or need anything, please talk to the staff in your area.
Some ISU Dining locations are open and here to serve you! Dining centers, Hawthorn, Clyde's, East Side Market, West Side Market and South Side market will be open. Check the ISU Dining website for updated hours and please have patience with staff as they will be serving high numbers of students over the next few days. Menus may also change quickly depending on product availability.
