Come to the Cupcake SmackDown Thursday, Sept. 22--Support United Way and Get a Cupcake!

AMES, Iowa—Leaders from the Division of Student Affairs office are stepping away from their offices and are headed for a smackdown…a Cupcake Smackdown!

The Cupcake Smackdown will pit the Student Affairs leaders against each other to help raise money for the 2011 United Way campaign. Each person or team will have the opportunity to decorate two cupcakes. Then, the community is invited to vote for their favorite cupcake by donating money toward the one they like the best.

Each person who donates will receive a cupcake in thanks for their donation. All donations will go to United Way.

The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the south lawn in front of Parks Library.
