Spring 2010 Move-In Information

To our new students, WELCOME! And to our returning students, WELCOME BACK! The following information is intended to help make the move to your on-campus assignment as simple as possible.

Move-In - 4 Easy Steps

Step 1. Review your assignment.
Once your assignment is made, it will be available for you to view in AccessPlus. Simply log into AccessPlus, then select "Campus Housing" from the menu on the left. Your contract and assignment summary will appear in the main screen.

Step 2. Review the Spring 2010 move-in dates and times on the chart below.

Residence Halls Dates: January 7 - 10
Time: 10 am - 6 pm
Location: Your Hall Desk 		The halls re-open on January 7 at 8 am.

Simply return to your room. You do not need to check-in
Frederiksen Court Dates: January 7 - 10
Time: 9 am - 5 pm
Location: Frederiksen Court Community Center 		Frederiksen Court and SUV remain open during Winter Break.

You may return to your apartment at any time.
Schilletter & University Villages (SUV) Dates: January 7 - 10
Time: 9 am - 5 pm
Location: SUV Community Center

Step 3. Make your way to ISU! - Check here for directions to campus.

Step 4. Get your keys and move in!
You will receive your keys from either your Hall Desk or Community Center office.

Can I move in before my scheduled date?
Early move-in IS NOT available for students assigned to the residence halls.

New Frederiksen Court residents can request early move-in by calling (515) 294-2107 or by e-mailing

frederiksencourt (at) iastate (dot) edu
. Cost will be $25 per day.

New SUV residents can request early move-in by calling (515) 294-2900 or by e-mailing

housing (at) iastate (dot) edu
. Cost will be determined by your monthly rental rate

Can I move in after my scheduled date?
The above dates and times are the times when staff will be dedicated to the move-in process. After January 10, move-in will only be possible during regular business hours. If you will arrive to campus later than January 11 please e-mail

housing (at) iastate (dot) edu
to notify us of your late arrival.

What if I can't arrive during the scheduled move-in hours?
In the residence halls, you can move-in after hours by contacting the CA on duty. That information will be posted at your Hall Desk.

In Frederiksen Court and SUV, if you know in advance that you will not arrive by 5 pm, please call (515) 294-2107 for Frederiksen Court or (515) 294-5360 for SUV. Otherwise, you can still move-in after hours by contacting the CA or RM on duty. That person's information will be posted at the Community Center associated with your assignment.
