Why did I choose ISU: I chose Iowa State because the first time I stepped on campus I felt like I was at home. Everyone was so friendly, energetic and passionate about being a Cyclone. Iowa State has been a great place for me academically, socially and professionally. I loved being able to welcome and inspire a new group of Cyclones in my role as a Community Adviser over the past three years, and I look forward to working with incoming students in a new way within the Administrative Services office for the Department of Residence.

What I like best about working at at ISU: My favorite part of my job with the Department of Residence is that I'm constantly interacting with people. I love serving as a resource and mentor for students and their families. My jobs on campus and various experiences have provided me with a plethora of knowledge about campus that I love being able to share with others.

How working at ISU has prepared me for my future: My job with the Department of Residence allows me to interact with people with different backgrounds and different life experiences consistently. My time working with the Department of Residence and experiences that I have had at Iowa State have encouraged me to pursue a career in the field of student affairs.
